What we learned from Kansas

Last week, the people of Kansas made their voices heard.

They took back their power as citizens, voters, and the will of the majority in perhaps the most Democratic move since the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade and took away a woman’s right to control her own body.

What we learned from Kansas when they voted on a ballot measure to protect the enshrined right to abortion care in their state’s constitution with a margin of nearly 20%, are a few critically important lessons as we continue the right for women’s freedom across the nation.
