Climate change–and the special interests preventing progress on environmental issues–pose grave threats to humanity. We must protect our planet.
The impacts of climate change are currently affecting environments and communities across the world, and its damaging effects will continue to increase. They have already disproportionately affected poor women of color, and will continue to harm the most vulnerable communities the most.
The age of fossil fuels is over. Renewable energy is the future of our economy and our planet.
We must ensure that every American has access to clean air and water. No child should have to suffer from asthma, lead poisoning, or other environmentally caused conditions because of their ZIP code.
We have a responsibility to leave a better planet for the next generation, and we’re failing. We must commit to a Green New Deal that reshapes our economy into a renewable, sustainable future.
